I saw there are no more updates for GPS Cycle Computer v3.
But I found your project, that is a continuous way of it.
I will test your version.
Go on and keep this nice little piece be truth.

Hello hollywoof,
I posted this comment on XDA quite some time ago, but I think you might have missed it. As Navmi in the most complete program it is a pitty that my altitude is nog given correctly. Ad the altitude is one of the most interesting thing to use such a program. Maybe you could take a look at it? Tha NaviComputer program gives me the right altitude, but is not as complete as yours.
Here is my original post at XDA: (13-1-2010)
I really like the program, but I have one problem: the altitude is stuck on 47m. I had the same problem in gpscyclecomputer when the GPS was set on ‘always on’. Something seems to go wrong in updating the altitude form the GPS. Other programs don’t have this problem, but aren’t as good as yours
I am running WM 6.5 on a HTC diamond2.

Thanks waterflietser – I did see your comment on xda – and thought I had replied there.
I’ll take a look at this in the next few days and will see if I can get a 1.0.7 out with better elevation support.
Thanks for the good quality input.

Thanks you so so so very much!
You’re great.
I was using (as the others) GPSCycleComputer for quite a while – mainly for navigation while mountainbiking. It’s so nice to see that this wonderful piece of software is taken care of. Moreover you showed me runsaturday
Keep the good work going!

Is there a way to have it trim points? I’d prefer not to have points captured that are in the same direction and less than a certain distance (ie. 75′) from the previous point. It generates very large gpx files in continuous track mode with points getting logged every second.

Hi, can you say why this is not available for uk. I’m in the uk can I download it hut it won’t work? very much want to try his out
March 16th, 2010 on 7:36 am
billm – there are some offline tools that can allow you to do this. The normal way to do it is to use the “Douglas-Peucker algorithm”. I’ll look at adding this to the export of navmi – all those poitns are still of value in navmi itself as they contain speed and elevation data.
March 16th, 2010 on 7:38 am
zzleezz – navmi is not available in the UK because of some potential issues with a trademark – sorry. I am actively working on rebranding navmi for the UK.

Hi
Great app, mutch better than GPS-Tuner.
Now i can use my Xperia X1 for tracking
instate of my old Nokia 6110 Navigator
with Nokia Sports Tracker.
Big thanx, go on
April 11th, 2010 on 9:53 pm
Hi,
I think your app is a great step forward from gps cycle computer, mainly due to the better map support, however when I check my last ride It’s not possible to check all the data possibilities you have, when you just finished the ride. for instance, a detailed summary of your ride.
Is it possible to add this feature to the next release?
than you and keep up the good work.
April 12th, 2010 on 7:35 pm
Hi,
Love your app, however there’s something I miss in your releases compared to gps cycle computer. After finishing a ride and saving the file, you can only see the total time and disance and map, but not the details of your ride, which was possible with GPS cc.
Could you add this in your next release?
Thank you very much, and keep up the good work
April 12th, 2010 on 7:47 pm
I think from the diary you can see total time, distance, lap times and map.
Which exact details are you missing? Average speed? Max speed? Elevation change? You list what you want and I’ll try to work out what to add
April 20th, 2010 on 10:01 pm
Details like Avg/max/min speed would be nice…
But here’s my 2 (euro)cents:
As I’m planning on uploading all of my future (race)bike trips to MapMyTracks.com it would be nice to be given the option to export trips to the .gpx format directly after pressing the stop button. Alternatively you could implement a configuration option which, when ticked, automatically exports trips to either .gpx or .kml when a trip is ended (maybe with their own destination folder settings).
One little question about the smoothing option:
Is this smoothing also being applied to the output files, or is it just used for the plotting/displaying of tracks within the program itself? If the former is the case, what would be a good setting for someone recording trips on his race-bike (30KM/h average)? I’ve currently set it to 3 points since I don’t want it ’smoothing’ out corners. Cutting corners would result in a lower total distance driven and in effect result in a lower average speed. A little smoothing is nice to reduce gps errors though.
Ok, ok, that was a little more than 2 cents. To conclude I must say I like your continuation of GPSCC and I thank you for the effort you put in Navmi!

Just got HTC Diamond 2, looked for GPS apps, found NAVMI. Had a few plays. Never used GPS sports apps before – Has taken a little to get up to speed with the program but so far I think it’s GREAT! Looking forward to a manual to help me with all those features I haven’t discovered yet.
April 27th, 2010 on 7:47 pm
Yes, those stats (av. speed, max. speed and elevation min/max) would be great thanks.

One Question, please.
Is there a possibility to download the require maps before?
For example as Preparation for plant Vacation.
Thanks
Golf
May 15th, 2010 on 1:48 pm
There are some ways to do this – the easiest (I find) is to start the GPS, then go to the Maps view, then scroll to your holiday destination, then scroll and zoom around the area – this causes the maps to be downloaded
May 15th, 2010 on 1:51 pm
Thanks for the comment. Interesting comments.
I’ve tried talking to mapmytracks.com – but they’ve gone quiet for the moment – not sure why.

Request for ‘ runsat ‘ Distribution in Korea
I work at Ubinuri in Korea, which distributes overseas applications in Korea through Korean app stores operated by mobile service operators and by itself.
At first, I would like to request your approval for Ubinuri’s provision of information (screenshots and product features) and download service for ‘ runsat ‘ and your other free applications at the app stores in Korea.
In addition, Ubinuri would like to distribute your paid applications in Korea. We would localize, promote, and sell your applications through app stores in Korea subject to agreement with you. We also have good channels to provide your applications directly to mobile service operators and Korean phone manufactures on a large scale.
If you have any question on my proposal, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,

Been using this app for a few weeks now and think it’s great. Just wish my body was as reliable as NAVMI!
Only found one minor issue: In the Diary, entries appear to be saved according to UTC time instead of local time (so if I do activity before 10am local time it is logged as being done on the previous day because Brisbane is GMT + 10hr). However, the course list is recorded/saved using local time! Can diary entries be

Good to hear it’s working well.
Good spot on the timezone thing – I’ll add something to the next RunSat release.
I’m very jealous of your Brisbane life – last time I was in Oz I was there for 4 weeks, 3 and a half of which were spent in Brisbane and Straddie – loved it!

Hi, I can’t wait to try this but after downloading to my Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.1 I can not get past the setup screen. I used my PC to set up the acct and linked it on my mobile. I can not find the navimimain screen. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
June 28th, 2010 on 11:13 am
I use Endomondo Sports Tracker for the same purpose on my HTC Touch2. Your app looks more complete. However if you could add automatic posting of activity on Facebook etc, it would be more attractive.
June 28th, 2010 on 11:39 am
Thanks for the feedback. Currently, you can auto-post to facebook and twitter – but only by setting up your account on runsaturday to allow this. I’ll look at further extensions within the app as/when I get time
Thanks again – very useful feedback.

Hi, i’m from Argentina, i downloaded today runsat app.
I installed over an Omnia II (GT-I8000L) and run very well.
But I don’t have a map for my city. Where i can download it?
Thanks, if you need anything, just tell me.
July 13th, 2010 on 6:15 pm
It’s available download for iPhone?
Thanks again, Conrado.
July 13th, 2010 on 8:28 pm
Thanks Conrado. I love Argentina – spent 6 weeks there back in 2005. To download the maps, connect to wifi, get GPS lock, go to the map view and then click on the arrow to enable downloads – data will get downloaded from OpenStreetMap.
July 13th, 2010 on 8:29 pm
Hopefully iPhone will be available soon – waiting on Apple App Store approval. Will post an iTunes link when it happens.
July 19th, 2010 on 5:45 pm
Was using your runsat program successfully for about a week and as soon as I upgraded to the latest version the GPS tracking component stopped working. I see a few others have had this issue as well and am hoping you have come up with a solution. I have already tried downloading the older version and unfortunately the same problem is still there. Thanks.
July 19th, 2010 on 5:52 pm
….and I am using the HTC Touch Pro 2. Thanks again.
July 20th, 2010 on 7:02 am
Thanks Darin. I’m really puzzled what the problem is.
It might help if you or someone could provide some of this info from an earlier link:
“There’s only 3 questions I can think to ask on 1.1.6 – 1. when you are running 1.1.2 and have lock, then what numbers do you see next to T and Dh on the Detail screen (on http://www.navmi.com/wp-content/gallery/screenshots/detail.jpg); 2. with 1.1.6, does it matter if you try Auto instead of a COM port number for GPS; 3. Have you applied the “latest update” that mike talks about in his comment? (Or is that update only there for Verizon and not for Sprint?). Will try to assist – and thanks again for the feedback.”
I guess point 3 doesn’t apply to you!
Sorry for the problems – so many different WM phone variants out there!

When trying to create an account I get the following error message, anyone know why?
System.Net.WebException
August 9th, 2010 on 7:31 pm
Is there anyway to get this to work on windows 2003 CE?
August 12th, 2010 on 5:26 pm
I’m not sure what’s causing this – could be a networking issue.
If you create an account on runsaturday.com/runningfreeonline.com using a browser, then I hope you can link to that account.
August 12th, 2010 on 5:26 pm
If you have touch screen and if you have Compact Framework 2 installed then this should work, otherwise no – sorry!
August 27th, 2010 on 11:37 pm
The new download link doesn’t work.
