<p>Currently this app includes:<br />
- a simple diary<br />
- GPS tracking<br />
- data upload to runningfreeonline.com (was runsatuday)</p>
<p>This app doesn&#8217;t yet include any mapping (coming soon!)</p>
<p>I&#8217;m currently looking for some testers.</p>
<p>If anyone is interested then please:</p>
<p>1. Download this certificate &#8211; <a href="http://slodge.com/navmi/rootCACert.cer">http://slodge.com/navmi/rootCACert.cer</a> &#8211; then copy it to the main memory of your phone and then use the phone&#8217;s &#8220;My files&#8221; app to open this certificate (you can see part of this process here &#8211; http://www.careace.net/2010/08/07/run_your_wave_app_on_actualdevice/)</p>
<p>2. Download the test app &#8211; <a href="http://slodge.com/navmi/runsat.oap">http://slodge.com/navmi/runsat.oap</a> &#8211; and copy this to the main memory of your phone &#8211; then again use &#8220;My files&#8221; to open this installer.</p>
<p>3. If this works, then you should have a RunningFree app installed &#8211; does it work for you?<br />
- if not, then please let me know &#8211; I&#8217;ll try to help get this working (but this is a very new phone and operating system)<br />
- if it does, then how well does it work? All feedback, good or bad, appreciated.</p>

<p>So recently I&#8217;ve been playing with iPhones and today I&#8217;ve submitted an iPhone app to the app store.</p>
<p>This app doesn&#8217;t have the same features as the WM app &#8211; but it&#8217;s a version 1.0 <img src='http://www.navmi.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>When it gets approved&#8230; then I&#8217;ll post more details here, including full support info.</p>
<p>I might also try to get some of the lessons learned back into the WM app &#8211; especially making the WM app a bit more user friendly.</p>

<p>This seems to occur only on certain phones.</p>
<p>To work around this, I&#8217;ve switched the software over to an alternative timing source within Windows/GPS &#8211; hopefully this will produce good results on all phones.</p>
<p>The new release is available now from the download page.  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve just uploaded the 1.1.5 release of runsat <img src='http://www.navmi.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The main new things in this release are:</p>
<ul>
<li>New language file &#8211; Portuguese (Brazil) from Cesar</li>
<li>New language file &#8211; Russian from KN</li>
<li>Changes to the way speed is displayed &#8211; hopefully the refresh rate will work better for cyclists now</li>
<li>The diary/log now shows average speed as well as distance and time (but the font is a bit smaller as a result!)</li>
</ul>
